M3GA project


mirSense is a partner in the M3GA project for air quality control, a project financed by the ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche). The goal of mirSense is to develop and supply single-mode distributed feedback Quantum Cascade Lasers (DFB – QCL) with emission wavelengths suitable to detect nitrous species – N2O and NH3. According to the HITRAN database, advantageous target adsorption wavelength bands for these chemicals are 7.6 – 8.0 μm and 9-10 μm for N2O and NH3, respectively.
